How do we collect your data?

We do not collect any data of you if you do not use our paid service. We do not ask you for your name or email nor do we process this data on the free account. Your content (your created sitemaps) is being stored for 14 days via the URL we provide you - if the link hasn’t been revisited within 14 days it will be automatically deleted. If you access the link the link life will be extended for another 14 days as long as you revisit it. If you don’t come back within 14 days the link and all the sitemap content attached will be deleted permanently. However you can also choose to upgrade to a permanent link with upgrading to a paid account. Then we need you name, email and address in order to send you an invoice and process your payment.

So some data are collected when you provide it to us. This could, for example, be data you enter on a contact form or data you unter upon registering an account with us.

Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. These data are primarily technical data such as the browser and operating system you are using or when you accessed the page. These data are collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure the proper functioning of the website. Other data can be used to analyze how visitors use the site. In order to form a contract with us and sign up for a paid account it is necessary to know your master data such as name, company name, address, VAT (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR).

4. Payment service providers

Stripe

On our website we offer payments via credit cards. This service is being handled by

Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.,C/O A&L Goodbody, Ifsc, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1.

If you choose payments via credit card your payment information is being transferred to Stripe.

The transfer of your data to Stripe takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent) and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract).

You can at any time revoke your permission of this data processing. Please note that a revocation is not being applied retroactively to any data processing in the past.

7. Analysis tools and advertising

Matomo (formerly called Piwik)

This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo. Matomo uses so-called „cookies,“ which are text files that are stored on your computer and that make it possible to analyse your use of this website. In conjunction with this, the information about the use of this website generated by the cookie will be archived on our server. Prior to archiving, the IP address will first be anonymized.

Matomo cookies will remain on your device until you delete them.

The storage of Matomo cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user patterns, in order to optimize the operator’s web offerings and advertising.
